OverDub is built so there's as little to say here as possible. There are two separate things — the app and this website — and they're handled differently.
The OverDub iOS app is fully on-device. It has no accounts, no cloud, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. Your recordings, projects, and room measurements never leave your iPhone unless you export and share them. We do not collect, transmit, or receive any of your data — which is why the App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
If you join the waitlist, we store only your email address and the date you signed up — nothing else. Your signup record holds no IP address, no name, and no tracking identifiers, and the site sets no advertising cookies and never tracks you across other sites.
A brief per-visitor rate limit protects the signup form from abuse; it uses a temporary, hashed value that expires automatically and is never tied to your signup.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which links bring them here. It is cookieless and privacy-first: no cookies, no fingerprinting, and no tracking across other sites. It reports only aggregate counts — page views, referrers, and approximate country — never tied to an individual, and it sets nothing on your device.
